The PBPA encourages you to participate in the stakeholder workshop hosted by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), focused on the Texas Freight Mobility Plan (TFMP).
The TFMP is TxDOT’s statewide plan for identifying freight needs and guiding investment decisions to keep goods moving efficiently across Texas. Updated every four years, the plan plays a critical role in shaping how freight priorities are addressed across all modes—from highways and rail to ports and logistics hubs.
As part of the 2027 update process, TxDOT is seeking input from industry and public-sector partners through a series of focused stakeholder workshops. These sessions are designed to gather real-world perspectives, discuss key challenges and emerging trends, and help inform future freight priorities across the state.
This is a valuable opportunity for PBPA members to ensure the unique needs and insights of the Permian Basin are represented. Your participation will directly contribute to strategies that enhance reliability, efficiency, and competitiveness across Texas’s freight system.
